Adam Arnali shot and directed this piece for Through You to coincide with the Logo he designed for their imminent return! Through You was one of the biggest bands in the southeast a short time ago and Zero Dark is blessed to be working with them during their comeback.
The story of “Crash and Burn” tells of a clash of cultures where the water crisis of Egypt meets the American Dream. Set in Orlando, Florida, a group of Egyptian missionaries find a girl named Sunset who they believe contains the spirit of The Phoenix Bird. The Phoenix is a mythological bird that watched over the rising an falling of the Sun and Nile River. They believe the Phoenix has returned in the body of the girl and is the key to saving the Nile from drying up. However, there are those who wish to use the girl’s power for control and luckily for her an All American Iraqi war veteran named Crash, who has seen how corruption can destroy a civilization and has had enough, rescues her from the clutches of the radical group.
The film is an Allegory about how the best interests of our society can become maliciously turned into corruption and greed and that its up to us as free thinking heart driven people to do what’s right no matter the cost even if it means to Crash and Burn.
Dagnese talks to Zero Dark Cinema to tell you about their upcoming show at The Dark Party June 10th Held at the Cameo. To get there Chris D’Agnese travels over bridges and rides in a car to meet up with his band mates at the Dagnese Home Base.

The Day has come where our online portfolio gets a facelift! A flash player has been installed similar to a gallery where you can click through the thumbnails to see all our latest films/videos. New to the portfolio is Exit the Ride’s Music Video for Live Forever, the Full Version of Whitney Costner and the Bodyguards Music Video, and Music video we shot for the Rapper Common as apart of his music video call out. We were very active in 2009 and can finally show off our hard work. 2010 has been a very productive year so far and we are excited about what new film projects we can shine our light on. Zero Dark’s music video for rapper Common’s song “Make My Day” directed by Adam Arnali has officially been selected into the Florida Music Festival’s Indie Film Jam Music Video Showcase in Downtown Orlando at 57 West on Pine Street Friday the 23rd at 7pm
As a component of The Florida Music Festival, IFJ walks in stride with FMF to create a weekend celebrating artists in the realm of music & film. These artists have been invited to perform stripped down acoustic sets at 57 West on Friday, April 23rd before screening their Music Videos as part of the 6th Annual Indie Film Jam! Acoustic sets kick off at 7pm with the Thomas Nicholas Band headlining the festivities at 9pm!
