Adam Arnali shot and directed this piece for Through You to coincide with the Logo he designed for their imminent return! Through You was one of the biggest bands in the southeast a short time ago and Zero Dark is blessed to be working with them during their comeback.
Zero Dark is Officially entering the Corporate 5K Race happening in Winter Park Orlando, This Thursday at 7:30p.m.
The Zero Dark Race Team is sponsored by the Band The Eyes of God 
Corporate 5k presented by IOA is a unique 3.1-mile run/walk evening event where Florida’s corporate and non-profit communities form teams and participate every year to promote camaraderie, friendly competition and celebrate with co-workers and friends.
Beneficiaries for the Corporate 5K include the following organizations:
-The Track Shack Foundation – a 501©(3) organization established to promote health and fitness with an emphasis on youth athletics. -
Parramore Kidz Zone – a local, dynamic program that will change a distressed Orlando neighborhood into a healthy place for children.
-Orlando’s Christian Service Center – a food drive is held for this organization in association with the Corporate 5k. Individuals are asked to bring a can of food to the race. For a list of items, run to Corporate5k.com.
-Orlando Runner’s Club – this group sponsors the Charles M. Rowson, Jr. Memorial Scholarship and gives back to the community and helps foster interest in the sport of running.
Just renovated our Zero Dark website with a new blog feature on the front of the site that acts as the central command center between the Cinema, Zero Point, and Apparel Sections.
This is the year Anniversary of when the site went up.. We’ve got so much content to create and with the blog functionality of the new home page its going to be great for Unknown Web Fly By’s to immediately see all the stuff we’re doing. Came up with the term today when wandering around a mall in Orlando. We are all in a game that many believe is more than just a game. People and negativity push their agenda with a chip on their shoulder and other’s demand respect and feed their jealous ego’s. What is the result.. Chaos. The second you believe your about to make a definitive move that will ascend you to great heights a grenade explodes that sends you back down to earth. When you get up to brush your self off you realize you don’t have the strength to rise and you new predicament is more than your able to handle but simultaneously you realize a bigger picture and now see the world through a more experienced set of eyes.
The Common Conquest is still in the works have yet to hear the final decision whether we won or not. Since i finished it and submitted my world hit a tail spin and now I am nearly recovered from the Insanity. the resulting realization is that there are those who think that they have weapons to stop you but all they can do is slow you down they can never stop you. You are ultimately in charge of whether to give up on your dream or not. The Grenades they throw are nothing more than gravity grenades exploding chaos that slows your forward progress. However, you also are armed with the same weapon yet if your a true beacon of light you never use them. Instead, to protect ourselves from these grenades that seem to simply fall out of the sky thrown by mysterious haters we must gravitize our own situations as to become impenetrable from these attacks. LIke a Star in the sky that bends light by its own gravitational force we can bend the projectile path of the dark’s gravity grenades.
based on these recent events i have decided to begin a blog to chronicle the behind the scenes true life trials and challenges that i face in turning Zero Dark into a force to be reckoned with in the world. the path to make it impenetrable against those who conspire against it for reasons of darkness. the blog is going to be called Gravity Grenades and its going to be hosted on my Cinemoda Cinerarium blog on the Zero Dark Apparel website.
Day # 7 of the contest.
Officially penned the treatment for the video and am thrilled that everyone dug it. Common’s contest only lasts two weeks so we had to come up with our ideas quick. Ryan Funk is amazing and has already put the crew together. i can’t release the official concept yet but it involves water and color. the song is super upbeat so i had to really get out of my dark world and find light hearted inspiration. Victoria Santiago has signed up to be our lead actress and we are currently pursuing our male lead. i met victoria while frequenting an Art House Coffee shop called Austin Coffee and Film and picked that spot randomly to meet Ryan Funk and there she was again I immediately realized she would be perfect for the role. I’m also looking to get the coffee shop and a location. Its crazy how creative coincidences work themselves out. Anyways starting week #2 tommorrow and its going to be intense. i gotta string together the creative and lock locations quick like!!!
